The ServiceNow Developer designs, configures, and delivers solutions on the ServiceNow platform — building workflows, forms, integrations, and custom applications across multiple modules to meet business requirements.

ServiceNow Modules & Products

• App Engine – custom application development and data models
• Flow Designer – workflows, approvals, actions, and subflows
• Service Catalog & Employee Center – request intake and self-service
• IntegrationHub – REST/SOAP integrations with external systems
• Performance Analytics & Reporting – dashboards and indicators
• Now Platform core – Business Rules, UI/Data Policies, ACLs, Notifications, ATF

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build workflows and approval processes using Flow Designer
• Configure forms, lists, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules
• Develop custom applications and data models using App Engine
• Configure Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and the self-service portal
• Build integrations with external systems via IntegrationHub and REST/SOAP APIs
• Configure notifications, reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics indicators
• Implement access controls (ACLs), roles, and groups
• Develop reusable components and follow platform best practices
• Create ATF tests and resolve UAT and production defects
• Manage Update Sets and support upgrades, patches, and release activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of ServiceNow development and configuration experience
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) — mandatory
• Hands-on with Flow Designer, App Engine, Service Catalog, and IntegrationHub
• Strong scripting ability (server- and client-side JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideAjax)
• Solid understanding of the ServiceNow data model and platform architecture
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and Update Sets
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in any product line
• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, GRC/IRM, HRSD, or CSM modules
• Performance Analytics and advanced dashboard configuration
• Experience with Service Portal / UI Builder and custom widgets
