ServiceNow Functional/Technical Consultant

Role: ServiceNow Technical / Functional Consultant – Junior & Medior

Location: Brussels, Belgium – Hybrid

Contract: Long-term

Duration: 12 Months+ extensions

Languages: English + French or Dutch

TRR is working with a client on a number of new ServiceNow projects and is looking for experienced ServiceNow Technical / Functional Consultant at both junior and Medior level.

About the role

As a Functional-Technical Consultant, you bridge business and technology on the ServiceNow platform. You gather requirements with stakeholders, translate them into solid designs, and build and configure the solution yourself, so you see projects through from first workshop to go-live.

Your responsibilities

Run workshops with business users to understand their needs and processes

Translate requirements into functional and technical designs, user stories and acceptance criteria

Configure and develop ServiceNow functionality: forms, catalog items, Flow Designer flows, UI policies, Business Rules, Script Includes and Client Scripts

Build and support integrations with other systems via REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub

Promote out-of-the-box solutions and advise clients on best practices

Test your work, support UAT and resolve defects

Write documentation and transfer knowledge to client teams

(Senior) Lead workstreams, guide colleagues and act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders

Your profile

A solid mix of functional analysis and hands-on configuration and development skills

Good knowledge of ITSM processes (ITIL); experience with ITOM, HRSD, CSM or SPM is a plus

Working knowledge of JavaScript and the Glide API

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Strong communication skills, comfortable with both business and technical audiences

Fluent in Dutch and/or French, and English

ServiceNow CSA required; CAD and/or CIS certifications are a plus
