About the Team
Join our growing ServiceNow CoEI team, where people, process and technology converge to deliver effective, scalable solutions across the enterprise. Working with global business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects and technology teams, you will help evolve the platform, strengthen delivery practices and support digital transformation.
Role Summary
We are looking for a collaborative Senior ServiceNow Solutions Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions. You will translate business needs into technical approaches, guide delivery teams and ensure the platform evolves in line with architecture, governance and ServiceNow best practices. The role suits an experienced engineer seeking to deepen solution-design expertise and progress towards Solution Architect responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design across workflow, security, data, integrations, user experience, automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Partner with business stakeholders and Enterprise Architects to shape requirements, evaluate options and align solutions with platform strategy, standards and roadmaps.
- Produce clear solution designs, technical specifications, integration designs, data models and architecture documentation.
- Provide technical assurance through architecture reviews, governance forums and design authorities, assessing impacts across ServiceNow and dependent systems.
- Configure, develop, test and implement ServiceNow solutions and enhancements, including workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, UI policies, access controls, catalogues and integrations.
- Guide developers, administrators and delivery partners; promote reusable patterns, development standards and ServiceNow best practices.
- Support upgrades, incident and defect resolution, root-cause analysis, performance optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and implement emerging capabilities, including UI Builder, Now Assist and AI-powered workflows.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of ServiceNow platform experience, delivering enterprise-scale solutions across design, development and implementation.
- Strong ServiceNow architecture and development knowledge, including JavaScript, APIs, integration frameworks, security, governance, scalability and maintainability.
- Experience translating business requirements into solution designs and technical architectures, and participating in architecture review and design assurance.
- Working knowledge of ITSM and relevant ServiceNow products such as ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CMDB and CSM.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, mentoring and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance business value, technical constraints and risk.
Required Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification(s).
- Platform strategy, modernisation or digital transformation initiatives delivered alongside Enterprise Architecture teams.
Desirable Experience
- Service Operations Workspace implementations.
- Now Assist, AI Agents, AI Specialists, or other generative AI and intelligent automation capabilities.
Why Join Us
You will join a high-impact, supportive and inclusive team delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow capabilities at the intersection of technology, people and process. The role offers exposure to global teams and senior stakeholders, opportunities to influence platform strategy and delivery practices, and a clear pathway towards broader Solution Architect responsibilities.
