Short-Form Content Producer (full-time / Hybrid)

Zebra Dolphin is a friendly online dealer building the world’s first Mood Market: a curated online bazaar of substances for (somewhat) normal people and their everyday rituals (or struggles, if you may), like focusing, relaxing, socialising, boinking (yes), and being a productive menace to society.

We’re looking for an experienced, culture-aware creator who’ll help us create engaging short- and mid-form videos that people actually stop scrolling for and keep watching.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Make TikTok native videos with strong hooks, tight narratives and pacing that earn attention, keep people watching and make them do something (i.e., not just algorithm view-bait).

• Plan from concept to post
  Take a script or idea and map out the shot list, formats, and what we’ll film versus supplement with AI or stock footage.
• Design for atomization
  Plan each shoot to yield many outputs across platforms, rather than filming every piece from scratch.
• Shoot and edit natively for each platform.
  Film on phone or camera, cut in CapCut, Premiere or DaVinci, and get platform-specific pacing right. Your work doesn’t need to be cinematic, but bad audio and slow pacing are dealbreakers.
• Write the words around the video.
  That means captions, titles, hooks and thumbnails that show you know what’s happening in culture and pop culture right now.
• Close the loop with data
  Review performance weekly and turn it into a simple system the team can learn from
• Keep the machine running
  Own the content calendar, asset library and posting workflow. Must be organized, efficient & effective.
  

NICE TO HAVE (at least something on this list):

• You understand short form storytelling, retention and what makes people share
• You can research a topic independently and distill it into a narrative that’s digestible and on-brand.
• You can see the ten adjacent videos hiding inside any one subject
• You have experience making content for regulated categories (cannabis, alcohol, nicotine, supplements) and know how to work within platform rules.
• Basic marketing understanding
• Ability to make Dolphin sounds on camera
• Passion for altering the mind
• Sense of humor
