Short Form Video Editor (100% Remote)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly creative and trend-savvy Short-Form Video Editor who specializes in creating engaging, scroll-stopping content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate understands fast-paced storytelling, audience retention techniques, and platform-specific editing styles for short-form videos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit high-impact short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) with strong hooks and engaging pacing

• Create attention-grabbing first 3–5 seconds to maximize retention

• Add dynamic subtitles, captions, motion graphics, transitions, and sound effects

• Optimize videos for each platform’s format, trends, and algorithm preferences

• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips

• Maintain consistent brand tone, style, and visual identity

• Deliver high-quality edits within tight deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience editing short-form content (portfolio required)

• Strong proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar

• Deep understanding of short-form storytelling and audience retention strategies

• Excellent English comprehension (must be able to edit English content/scripts accurately)

• Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, hooks, and viral formats

• Strong attention to detail and fast turnaround capability

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with YouTube creators, influencers, or digital brands

• Basic motion graphics and animation skills

• Understanding of content repurposing and clipping strategy

• Experience creating viral-style captions and subtitle animations
