Showroom Experience Manager

Your Role at Delta Faucet:
This role is primarily responsible for creating awareness and advocacy with trade influencers, including design professionals, architects, builders, and commercial specifiers, through effective communication of Delta Faucet Company’s elevated brand positioning, product and innovation stories and unique service capabilities. Outreach efforts will focus on regularly scheduled training and events in and out of the showroom as well as frequent one-on-one meetings and quote generation as needed. This role will contribute to servicing walk-in traffic, ensuring consistency in message and continually building awareness and preference for our brands, products, and services.
Nature and Scope: The position will be charged with understanding the needs of the influencer targets, developing strategies to address identified opportunities, and executing best in class relationship building, training and education.
- General understanding of methods to engage the influencer community, who they are and where to find them.
- Must possess the ability to interact with all kinds of audiences in a collaborative manner, be proficient in oratory skills, and demonstrate engaging presentations with a passion for the content.
- Can take on projects with minimal direction, research information and collaborate to produce outcomes in alignment with company expectations, often providing innovative and unique solutions beyond the initial scope.
- Proficiency in creating and utilize showroom systems to meet the needs of the influencer while streamlining internal workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts focused on the customer.
- Can create relationships which foster long term advocacy for DFC, leveraging the showroom and all available training and communication tools.
Dimensions: Responsible for contributing to quotes more than $1M per year, including data input and communications/follow up. Instrumental in contributing to the creation and implementation of scheduled training events to educate and train 2500+ influencers throughout the year, including day and some evening events, including communication with agency reps and outside vendors, tracking feedback and sales generated as a result of those events. Contribute to influencer outreach by building client list through relationship building and events.
Responsibilities:
- Working daily at the Merchandise Mart showroom 9am-5pm Monday through Friday and evening events as needed.
- Limited local travel to build client base during outside presentations and meetings. Limited out of state travel, to attend trainings and trade shows
- Maintain and grow relationships within the influencer community (interior designers, architects, builders, developers and other specifiers) with top quality service and sales support.
- Provide product expertise and assistance to customers, both walk in and relationship based.
- Prepare and present DFC brands, products and services to all influencer targets through prepared presentations and personal outreach.
- Post presentation; communicate feedback and opportunities for improvement to DFC stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement in all program elements.
- Network within the influencer community to bring awareness to the showroom and build relationships.
Education and Experience/Skills:
- The ideal candidate will possess a college degree from a four-year college or university with 10 years of work experience in a like or similar environment.
- Education/experience in the interior design field or event planning field is beneficial and experience in the plumbing showroom segment is helpful.
- Strong presentation and communication skills required.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher) is critical.
- It is essential this individual has a strong ability to multi-task, identify needs and resolve issues immediately, as well as the ability to accomplish tasks with little direction.
- This person must have a strong work ethic; demonstrate a customer focus and understanding, and consistently exhibit ethics and honesty.
- Candidate must have a positive, can-do and outgoing attitude that exhibits passion and optimism along with the ability to convey this passion through presentations and business relationships.
- Must exhibit effective collaborative and team-building skills and exhibit a strong sense of personal accountability in working independently.
- Candidate will report directly to the Sr. Regional Showroom and Education Manager.
