We’re hiring one person to own social media and content end to end for two brands: CLB House Renovations, a Dubai renovation and fit-out contractor, and OWNRSCLB, a members’ club and platform for Dubai property owners.
This is a hybrid role, and the hybrid is the point. You’ll decide what we make and why, then pick up a camera and make it. We’re not looking for a strategist who briefs someone else, or an editor who waits for a brief. If you only want to do one half, this isn’t the role.
Both brands are early, so the content direction is yours to set, not inherited. You’ll report directly to our CEO, Charles Mpi.
What you’ll own:
Strategy and direction:
- Set the content strategy for both brands, including which platforms we invest in and which we ignore
- Define distinct content pillars for each brand.
- Turn brand positioning into concepts that perform, and tell us when a concept won’t
- Own a content calendar that keeps us well ahead and never posting reactively
- Stay on top of algorithm and format shifts and adapt what we make
Production:
- Shoot photo and video on live sites, at completed projects and at member events
- Edit reels, stories and static content to a premium standard
- Write copy for posts, captions and profiles in each brand’s voice
- Produce most content in-house, and brief, cost and manage freelancers for specialist work (drone, large shoots, animation)
- Build an organised content library so footage gets found, not re-shot
Channel management:
- Publish, schedule and monitor across both accounts
- Handle comments and DMs, and route genuine enquiries to the right person quickly
- Guard tone and visual identity across everything carrying either brand
Measurement:
- Report monthly on reach, engagement, follower growth and, most importantly, enquiries generated
- Run deliberate tests and feed what you learn back into the strategy
- Know which content drove business, not just which content performed
What you’ll need:
- You must be able to shoot and edit. We’ll ask to see work you made yourself.
- 2+ years running social media for a brand, agency or your own channels, with results you can point to
- Strong short-form video skills: you can shoot on a phone or camera and cut a reel that holds attention
- Fluency in your editing tool of choice (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci). We care about the output, not the software
- A working understanding of how Instagram and TikTok reward content, and the judgement to apply it
- Strong written English and an ear for tone
- The organisation to run a two-brand calendar without being chased
- Comfort on active construction sites and in client homes
Nice to have:
- Experience in property, interiors, construction, hospitality or luxury
- Dubai-based, with a feel for the market and its audience
- Design skills in Figma, Canva or Adobe
- Paid social experience: boosting, targeting and reading results
- Arabic alongside English
- A UAE driving licence
How you’ll work:
You’ll get the brand vision, the commercial goals, and a lot of latitude. That suits someone who forms a view and argues for it. We’d rather hear an idea is weak before we shoot it than find out afterwards.
What success looks like:
3 months: Both accounts posting consistently to a calendar you built, a content library in place, and a clear view on what each audience responds to.
6 months: Measurable growth in reach and engagement, a repeatable production rhythm, and traceable enquiries arriving through social.
12 months: Social is a dependable source of enquiries for CLB House and member sign-ups for OWNRSCLB, and we’re discussing where to invest next rather than whether it works.
