Fluxion Agency handles social media strategy, copywriting, paid ads, and performance reporting for our client brands. We're looking for a motivated intern to support both the day-to-day management of client social accounts and the marketing side, ads, performance, and content strategy, with room to pick up light graphic design tasks along the way.

About the Role

We're hiring a Social Media Executive Intern to join our team for a 12-month paid remote internship. This role sits at the intersection of social media management (running accounts, scheduling, engagement) and social media marketing (ads, strategy, performance tracking), so you'll get hands-on experience on both sides, plus create simple visual content.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activity on client social media accounts (scheduling, posting, community engagement)
• Assist with setting up, monitoring, and optimizing paid social ads (Meta/Instagram/Facebook Ads, and similar platforms)
• Track basic ad and content performance metrics and help compile simple reports
• Create light graphics for posts and stories (using tools like Canva) based on direction from the team
• Stay on top of platform trends and suggest content or ad ideas
• Support the team with other social media and marketing tasks as needed

Requirements

• Strong interest in social media marketing and digital advertising
• Basic familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and/or other social platforms
• Comfortable using (or willing to quickly learn) tools like Canva for simple graphics
• Good written communication skills
• Reliable internet access and ability to work remotely
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Prior experience with social media management or ads (personal, freelance, or professional) is a plus, but not required, we're happy to train the right person
