Social Media Manager, Dublin
Would you love to combine performance marketing with creative content production? Are you as comfortable analysing campaign results as you are creating engaging short-form videos and presenting on camera?
An opportunity to join a well-established Irish consumer comparison platform, helping people make smarter financial decisions and find better value across a range of household services and financial products.
The organisation is looking for a commercially minded and creative Social Media Manager to drive paid social performance while growing its organic social presence. This is a hands-on role with an approximately 50/50 split between paid social and organic content, offering plenty of scope to combine analytical thinking with creativity.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
- Manage campaign budgets and performance against KPIs, including CPA, CTR, CPC and conversions.
- Test creative formats, messaging, audiences and campaign strategies to improve performance.
- Analyse campaign results, identify opportunities for improvement and support customer acquisition objectives.
- Edit and produce engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
- Turn raw footage into polished, platform-ready content, including captions, graphics and visual elements.
- Repurpose longer-form footage into shorter videos tailored to different social platforms.
- Feature in video content, presenting consumer tips, explainers and money-saving content in an engaging and accessible way.
- Host interviews with experts across areas such as energy, insurance, mortgages and personal finance.
- Manage community engagement and monitor audience growth and content performance.
- Keep up with social media trends and consumer conversations to identify relevant content opportunities.
What they’re looking for:
- At least five years’ experience in paid social, digital marketing or social media management, combined with strong technical abilities.
- Hands-on experience managing campaigns through Meta Ads Manager and/or TikTok Ads Manager.
- Strong understanding of campaign optimisation, budget management, creative testing and performance metrics.
- Practical video editing and production experience, using tools such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Confidence and enthusiasm presenting on camera and engaging with an audience.
- Experience working with Influencers would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
- A commercial mindset, with a track record of delivering measurable campaign results.
Desirable experience:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4), conversion tracking and UTM management.
- YouTube optimisation.
- Marketing experience within financial services, utilities or consumer comparison.
This is a great opportunity for a social media professional who enjoys working across both the creative and commercial sides of digital marketing, taking ownership of campaigns and creating content that genuinely engages consumers.
What’s on offer:
- Salary: Circa €70,000
- Benefits to include Healthcare and Pension
- Hybrid working
- Autonomy and opportunities for growth
Application – Please ensure that the CV you submit clearly demonstrates:
1. Paid Social & Performance Marketing: Your hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, particularly across Meta and TikTok.
2. Organic Social Media & Content Creation: Your experience creating and editing short-form video content for social platforms. Include the tools you use (e.g. CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro).
3. On-Camera Presentation & Community Engagement: Any experience presenting or appearing in social media videos, hosting interviews, creating consumer-facing content or managing social media communities.
Please make these areas of experience clear and easy to identify on your CV, as they will form key considerations during the initial application review.
