Social Media Video Editor Intern

Do you stop mid-scroll to analyze why a Reel works? Can you spot a strong hook in the first three seconds? Are you a student who is equal parts storyteller and problem solver? Nebo is looking for a Social Media Video Editor Intern with a long-term interest in short-form content. This isn’t a “hang by the sidelines and do your homework” type of internship. We want you to jump right in and collaborate with our Social Media team to edit and deliver high-performing video content for real brands and audiences. And we’re not just looking for clean cuts and trendy transitions. We want someone who understands that great social is pacing, storytelling, and capturing attention in a never-ending feed. What You’ll Do Transform raw footage and scripts into scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts Edit content using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, and Canva Apply platform-specific best practices to create polished content Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance insights Develop shot lists, scripts, and video concepts as you integrate with the team You’ll typically work within 1–3 business-day turnarounds and be expected to address feedback within one business day. Editing tasks can be completed outside standard business hours as long as deadlines are met. What We’re Looking For Strong video editing skills and storytelling ability Understanding of short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback Passion for staying current on social trends and platform updates Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn A portfolio that includes video that was edited for organizations and brands (not just personal accounts, unless it’s significant creator experience) What We’re Offering Real agency experience on an award-winning team at one of the largest independent agencies in the South.
