ActalentservicesJob Title: Software Developer Job Description This Software Developer role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing software that supports complex equipment in automated factory environments. You will write new code, modify and optimize existing applications, and create software solutions that interface with new hardware to improve overall system performance and reliability. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software applications that support complex equipment in automated factory settings. Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code using C#, .NET, and object-oriented programming principles. Modify and update existing code to resolve issues, fix defects, and improve application stability. Create new code and software components that integrate with and control new hardware used in automated factory environments. Enhance overall performance of software systems to optimize equipment efficiency and reliability. Develop and maintain user interfaces using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows Presentation technologies. Work with SQL and MariaDB databases to design, query, and manage data for production systems. Use Visual Studio and related tools to build, debug, and test software solutions. Collaborate closely with a small development team to plan, implement, and review technical solutions. Troubleshoot software issues in coordination with team members and stakeholders to support automated factory operations. Essential Skills Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for application development. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and practices. Hands-on experience developing user interfaces with WPF and Windows Presentation technologies. Practical experience working with SQL and MariaDB databases, including querying and data management. Ability to use Visual Studio for coding, debugging, and testing applications. Capability to write, modify, and optimize code for complex equipment in automated factory settings. Skill in integrating software with new hardware and control systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in environments that involve automated factory equipment or industrial automation. Comfort collaborating within a small development team and contributing to shared technical solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing and resolving software issues. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and travel needs related to project and site support. Work Environment You will work as part of a close-knit team of three developers, collaborating on solutions that support automated factory operations. The role is primarily remote, offering flexibility in your day-to-day work location. Travel will be required up to a maximum of approximately 50% of the time, with typical travel closer to 20%, depending on project needs and on-site support requirements. Work will involve using technologies such as C#, .NET, WPF, SQL, MariaDB, and Visual Studio to build and maintain systems that integrate with complex factory equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Aurora, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
