About TASK

PAR TASK is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and systems to support the company's business operations and technological requirements.

This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to work on software development projects, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

· Diagnose and resolve intermediate hardware and software faults, including database queries, system configuration issues, and API integration errors, with support available for complex cases..

· Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems.

· Writing, modifying, and reviewing software code using appropriate programming languages and development tools.

· Developing and integrating software components, databases, and application programming interfaces (APIs).

· Conducting software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.

· Evaluating existing software systems and recommending improvements to enhance functionality, performance, and reliability.

· Preparing technical specifications, software documentation, and system design documents.

· Monitoring software performance and implementing updates, upgrades, and maintenance as required.

· Ensuring that software solutions comply with relevant technical standards, security requirements, and organisational policies.

· Participating in software development activities, including system analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

· Providing technical support and resolving software-related issues when required.

Skills and Qualifications

· A relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Relevant experience in software development and programming.

· Knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, databases, and software testing practices.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
