Role Overview: A hands-on software engineer and AI advocate responsible for building modern applications, maintaining critical legacy systems, and leveraging AI coding agents daily to accelerate development, documentation, and modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Advocacy: Lead by example using AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code), configure agent setups (rules, prompt libraries), and run demos/workshops to upskill the team.
• Modern & Legacy Systems Development: Develop and maintain features across a full landscape ranging from modern C# / .NET to legacy technologies (COBOL, Delphi, PowerBuilder, FoxPro, WinDev).
• Modernization & Architecture: Plan and execute migrations from legacy systems to modern architectures, ensuring business logic continuity and building a shared knowledge base.
• Quality & Collaboration: Write clean, SOLID code, participate in code reviews, work with CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers in AI-assisted practices.

Tech Stack & Core Requirements:

• Experience: 4 to 6 years of professional software development experience.
• AI Tooling: Proven day-to-day experience with AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) and building agentic workflows/MCP servers.
• Legacy Openness: Genuine willingness and openness to work with legacy technologies (COBOL, Delphi, PowerBuilder, FoxPro, WinDev; prior experience is a plus, not mandatory).
• Modern Stack: Solid experience with at least one modern stack, ideally C# / .NET and/or React / TypeScript / JavaScript.
• Databases & Tools: Relational databases and SQL, automated testing, Git, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
• Languages: Fluent English (mandatory); French or Spanish is a plus.
