Author backend coding tasks and review technical submissions for AI training and evaluation.

The assignment covers backend bugs, feature work, refactoring, and speed improvements. You prepare repeatable test setups, deterministic checks, and reference answers, then assess submissions and explain the technical basis for your review. Work remotely around your schedule.

What you'll do

• Create realistic backend coding tasks for bug fixes and feature implementation

• Build repeatable environments and checks that accept valid code and reject incorrect code

• Write reference solutions and document the approach a strong engineer would take

• Review technical submissions, identify defects and performance problems, and explain your reasoning clearly

• Background delivering scalable APIs and services; able to debug software, write automated tests, use algorithms and data structures, resolve performance bottlenecks, refactor large or legacy codebases, review code, document technical decisions, and communicate clearly; clear open-source contributions or an equivalent portfolio demonstrating coding ability.

• No AI experience needed.
