We look after the AI tools TomTom engineers use every day, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude and Cursor, and the platform that gives teams access to AI models. We help teams use these tools well, keep an eye on usage and cost, and try out new tools as they appear.
What you'll do:
Join a friendly team of platform engineers and pick up a project of your own, with a mentor to guide you
Help build reports and dashboards that show how AI tools are used across TomTom and what they cost
Look into how engineers can get good results from AI tools while using fewer tokens, and share simple tips and tooling with them
Help improve our model gateway, for example by adding usage tracking or making it easier for teams to try new models
Take part in trying out new AI developer tools and help write down what works and what does not
Support the pilot of our AI-assisted ways of working with engineering teams, for example by collecting feedback and usage numbers
Build iteratively using agile methodologies, and learn how a platform team works day to day
