Software-Entwickler (Java)

We're looking for a German-speaking Java Developer to join our dynamic, self-organized team and help build enterprise-level products for both local and global markets. You'll work closely with consultants, product owners, UI/UX designers, QA teams, and mobile, backend, and frontend developers to bring great digital products to life.

How you’ll contribute:

1. Implementing product requirements, user stories, and epics as maintainable, testable, and high-performing software in collaboration with the team.
2. Collaborating with project members to define technical specifications and API design details.
3. Contributing to our Agile ceremonies and team activities.
4. Participating in code reviews and comprehensive testing to ensure software quality.
5. Taking ownership of the quality of the project you work on and proactively taking action to resolve issues when you identify defects.
6. Continuously migrating solutions to newer technologies and frameworks to stay up to date with industry best practices.
7. Researching new technologies and sharing your findings with the team through our Tech Talks.

What makes you the one:

1. At least 5 years of experience in Java software development (Java 11+).
2. Solid understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.
3. Experience working with various architectural patterns such as Microservices and SOA.
4. Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and Spring modules.
5. Experience with OOP.
6. Knowledge and experience working with GIT.
7. Experience working in a Scrum or Agile-based environment.
8. Very good German language skills.

Experience with the following topics/technologies is a plus:

• Unit testing, mocking frameworks, TDD
• CI/CD pipelines
• Clean Code
• Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure...)
