Solution Architect

This is a remote position.

• Lead the architectural planning, design, and development process for the NDR platform.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements, objectives, and priorities.
  
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
  
• Create architectural blueprints and technical documentation to guide the development teams.
  
• Evaluate and select appropriate software and hardware solutions to meet specified requirements.
  
• Oversee the implementation of architectural designs, ensuring adherence to best practices and guidelines.
  
• Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot any architecture-related issues that arise.
  
• Analyse current technologies in use to identify areas for improvement and propose changes that enhance performance and scalability.
  
• Mentor team members on architectural topics and complex technical challenges.
  
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the fields of cybersecurity and software architecture
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in an architectural or leadership role.
  
• Profound understanding of architectural patterns, data modeling, and system design principles.
  
• Experience with cloud architectures, microservices, and containerisation (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
  
• Expertise in backend technologies such as Python, Java, C++, or Go.
  
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and network protocols.
