Solutions Engineer (Saas Experience is a must)
Location: Argentina · Fully remote
Employment: Full-time
Language: Advanced professional English (C1 or higher)
We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to support customers implementing a SaaS platform for managing content and speakers at events, conferences, and corporate meetings.
You’ll be the primary technical contact for customers after they sign their contract. You’ll lead implementations, configure integrations and single sign-on (SSO), and resolve complex technical questions. You’ll work directly with event and IT teams at customer organizations across the United States and Europe.
This role reports to the CTO and works closely with Customer Success, Support, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical onboarding for new customers, from account, data, user, and permission configuration through go-live.
- Understand each customer’s processes and translate them into an effective platform configuration, recommending alternatives when appropriate.
- Manage the technical workstream of each implementation alongside Customer Success.
- Configure and troubleshoot SSO using SAML 2.0 and OIDC in collaboration with customer IT teams.
- Configure and support integrations with registration platforms, event apps, CRMs, marketing tools, and video or webinar providers.
- Work with native connectors, REST APIs, webhooks, and automation tools such as Zapier or Workato.
- Map fields and data flows, conduct end-to-end testing, and document implemented solutions.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues escalated by Customer Success and Support. When needed, prepare clear, verified bug reports for Engineering.
- Lead technical calls in English and keep customers informed through to resolution.
- Create technical documentation, runbooks, and clear follow-up communications for customers and internal teams.
- Share recurring issues and improvement opportunities with Product and Engineering.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in solutions engineering, implementation, technical account management, integrations, or senior technical support at a B2B SaaS company.
- Advanced professional English (C1 or higher), both written and spoken, with the confidence to lead conversations with technical teams and executives.
- Hands-on experience configuring SSO with SAML 2.0 and OIDC/OAuth 2.0 across at least two identity providers, such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, or Ping.
- Experience with integrations using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, API keys, OAuth, and automation or iPaaS tools.
- Ability to analyze logs, network requests, and API responses, and use basic SQL or scripts to inspect data.
- A structured approach to troubleshooting and documenting technical findings.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to people with different levels of technical knowledge.
- Based in Argentina and legally authorized to work there.
- Availability to work hours that overlap with business hours in both the United States and Europe.
Nice to have
- Experience with event technology, registration platforms, or association management systems.
- Knowledge of SCIM, Okta Workflows, or other identity automation tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise security reviews, SOC 2 questionnaires, or technical questions related to data processing agreements.
- Basic Python or Node.js skills for testing APIs or transforming data.
- Experience working with US or European customers from Latin America.
- Spanish fluency for internal communication.
Work arrangements
- Fully remote from Argentina.
- Full-time schedule, approximately 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Argentina time, with flexibility for occasional earlier calls with European customers.
- Contractor or employer-of-record arrangement, to be discussed during the hiring process.
Hiring process
- A 30-minute introductory call with the CTO, in English.
- A technical interview covering an SSO troubleshooting scenario and an integration scoping exercise.
- A simulated customer kickoff call.
- Reference checks and offer.
