Sourcing Specialist, Europe

Position Summary: Department : Global Procurement / Strategic Sourcing Location: Remote (within Europe) Travel: 15– 25% within Europe Reports To: Director, Global Indirect Sourcing The Sourcing Specialist, Europe is Fortifi’s regional procurement lead for our European manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Director of Global Indirect Sourcing, this role supports the execution of global category strategies across every European plant — validating spend data, identifying cross-site synergies, providing regional intelligence, driving contract compliance at the site level, and managing dayto- day supplier and stakeholder relationships. Role Overview: • Spend Analysis: Consolidate indirect spend data across European ERP and site systems, and build dashboards tracking spend, supplier performance, savings, and contract compliance. • Category Strategy Support: Provide market intelligence, cost benchmarking, and supplier comparisons to support the Director’s sourcing decisions and negotiations. • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Act as the regional point of contact for suppliers under global agreements, leading quarterly business reviews and coordinating with plant procurement, operations, and finance teams. • Compliance & Contracts: Monitor site adherence to negotiated agreements, maintain the regional contract repository, and support audits and savings validation. • Continuous Improvement: Support the rollout of procurement tools and standardize sourcing practices across European sites. • Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus 4–8 years in procurement/sourcing (multi-site industrial preferred); advanced Excel; ERP (SAP/Oracle/D365) and eSourcing platform experience; fluent English, with an additional European language a plus. • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with indirect categories (MRO, IT, logistics, facilities); ESG exposure; Lean or Six Sigma certification. • Key Competencies: Detail-oriented and data-driven; a strong cross-cultural communicator; a selfstarter who executes independently.
