  • Have a strong understanding of digital processes and an interest in developing and automating tax workflows.
  • Bring strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style.
  • Are able to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders across different countries and business functions.
  • Have excellent English language skills.

Nice to have:

  • German language skills.
  • Previous experience in an international manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Experience with VAT registrations and input tax refund procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Practical experience with SAP and VAT transaction mapping.
  • Exposure to tax digitalization, process automation, or international VAT reporting tools.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide group-wide advice on EU and international VAT matters, acting as the central contact person for EU and non-EU entities.
  • Analyze complex VAT issues and develop practical, legally compliant solutions for international business transactions.
  • Support subsidiaries with international VAT matters, ensuring the correct application of local and international VAT regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate international input tax refund procedures for Group subsidiaries.
  • Administer and coordinate VAT registrations abroad for domestic subsidiaries.
  • Support the digitalization and automation of VAT processes, contributing to the development of efficient tax workflows.
  • Develop and maintain internal VAT guidelines and tax process standards across the Group.
  • Support the accurate mapping of VAT transactions in SAP, including VAT codes and the correct tax treatment of business transactions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and other business functions to ensure consistent VAT processes.
  • Monitor changes in EU and international VAT legislation and assess their impact on the Group's activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of international VAT processes and tax compliance standards.
