Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Java applications, Spring Boot services, REST APIs, and integrations.
  

• Maintain and support production applications across Java and Mainframe environments.
  

• Work with COBOL programs, JCL, batch processing, and standard z/OS utilities.
  

• Support IMS DC online transaction processing and DB2 SQL queries.
  

• Troubleshoot batch abends, investigate production incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
  

• Work with VSAM files and mainframe debugging tools.
  

• Support legacy application modernization and integration with Java-based services.
  

Preferred Skills

• SonarQube, GCP, and Pub/Sub
  

• AI/LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
  

• Python scripting and AI/ML tools
  

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  

• Microservices, automated testing, and CI/CD
  

• Mainframe modernization and AI-assisted technical documentation
  

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have 6+ years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years of development experience across Java and Mainframe technologies. Candidates who have recently transitioned from Mainframe development to Java are encouraged to apply.
