Georgia United Credit Union regularly evaluates market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to offer the best, competitive compensation package for our positions. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, internal alignment and other job-related factors. Starting salary $57,000 annually depending on experience and qualification. Reviews and ensures compliance with applicable financial laws and regulations. Interprets new and proposed regulations including the potential impacts to business operations. Prepares and presents compliance reports to management; as prescribed by management. Assists management in reviewing and developing policies and procedures with regard to compliance and regulatory issues. Conducts periodic reviews of existing policies to ensure compliance objectives are accurate and complete. Participates in seminars, conferences, and workshops to improve job knowledge. Acts as a liaison with functional business units in complying with new and existing regulations. Determines emerging compliance risks with a proactive approach and thought-provoking analysis. Analyzes and reports data as required by the Compliance Management Program. Supports management as part of the exam and internal audit process and at other times, as necessary. Supports management with external auditors, consultants and other third parties with regard to compliance activities. Assists Learning and Development with oversight, assignment and tracking of company-wide compliance training. Ensures that policies and procedures are updated in accordance with evolving regulations, legal requirements and process changes. Stays informed of trends and developments in the financial compliance field. Attends meetings as required. Participates in conducting research or completing special projects or assignments as required. Represents the Credit Union in contacts with business and trade associations and otherwise promotes the Credit Union’s image. Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company’s purpose, mission and core values.
