Position Overview

Autodesk's Events & Experiences team creates impactful experiences that strengthen relationships with customers, partners, employees, and industry leaders while advancing business objectives and elevating the Autodesk brand.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing & Communications (MarCom) Manager to drive audience acquisition, engagement, and communications across Autodesk's premier events, including Autodesk University (AU), One Team Conference (OTC), TechX, and other strategic programs.

This role requires a strategic, results-driven marketer who can translate business objectives into compelling, multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, registration, attendance, and engagement.

Working closely with the Director of Audience Acquisition & Engagement and cross-functional stakeholders, this individual will own the integrated event MarCom calendar, develop audience-focused communications, and ensure coordinated, timely campaign execution.

This position reports to the Director of Audience Acquisition & Engagement.

Important: This is a Marketing & Communications role focused on audience acquisition, content, communications, and campaign execution—not Event Operations, Production, or Event Management.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives and event goals
  • Translate business goals into integrated marketing and communications strategies that drive measurable outcomes
  • Drive audience acquisition and engagement throughout the attendee journey, from awareness and registration through post-event follow-up
  • Manage multi-channel campaigns across email, web, social, paid media, and internal and partner channels

Communications & Audience Engagement

  • Create compelling, audience-specific messaging and content for customers, partners, prospects, executives, and employees
  • Develop targeted email campaigns using audience segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation
  • Ensure communications are clear, engaging, and aligned with Autodesk's brand voice

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Own the end-to-end event MarCom calendar, including campaign plans, content milestones, approvals, dependencies, and channel timelines
  • Manage multiple projects and collaborate with Corporate Comms, Brand, Social, Field Marketing, Sales, Marketing Ops, and event stakeholders
  • Anticipate risks, resolve roadblocks, and drive alignment to ensure campaigns launch on time

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor registration, conversion, attendance, engagement, and channel performance
  • Use data and audience insights to optimize campaigns and recommend improvements
  • Share results, learnings, and recommendations with stakeholders and leadership

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, audience acquisition, or campaign management
  • 8+ years of professional experience writing, editing, and developing marketing and communications content for diverse audiences, including email campaigns, executive communications, presentations, websites, and event marketing assets (i.e. blogs, website, ppt toolkits etc)
  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce
  • Experience developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, web, social, and paid media
  • Experience managing audience-segmented email campaigns, including personalization and localization for global audiences
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing calendars, campaign roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables for large-scale programs
  • Experience developing campaign frameworks, playbooks, templates, and standardized processes
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to execute marketing programs and campaigns
  • Experience using campaign analytics, registration data, and performance metrics to optimize marketing outcomes
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and campaign analytics tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading marketing and communications programs for large-scale customer conferences, employee events, or flagship corporate programs
  • Strong understanding of audience acquisition, customer journey marketing, and event lifecycle communications
  • Strong organizational, project management, and stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative, adaptable, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience communicating with senior executives and navigating complex cross-functional environments
