The Rackspace Technology Legal Department is seeking a Sr. Paralegal to join our Litigation and Employment team. Reporting to the Director, Legal – Litigation and Employment, this role provides hands-on paralegal support across litigation, employment, and related matters, including case management, e-discovery coordination, and document handling. We're looking for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of matters in a fast-paced legal department. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Director, Legal – Litigation and Employment and Corporate Counsel across the full litigation and employment matter lifecycle, including intake, case management, and tracking of deadlines and key dates Coordinating e-discovery, document collection, and document review processes with outside counsel and internal stakeholders Administering the legal hold process, including issuing and tracking hold notices and monitoring compliance Preparing and organizing materials for mediations, arbitrations, and hearings. Assisting with responses to claims, demand letters, administrative complaints, and related inquiries Maintaining case management and matter tracking systems (e.g., Legal Tracker, Gavel), ensuring accurate and current records Monitoring Service of Process portal and responding to matters accordingly. Assisting with responses to law enforcement requests, subpoenas, and third-party requests Supporting document retention and record-keeping for litigation and employment matters Coordinating with outside counsel on scheduling, filings, and administrative matters Assisting with drafting and organizing employment agreements. amendments, separation/severance agreements, policy documents, and related correspondence Supporting distribution, tracking, and acknowledgment of employee handbooks and policy rollouts Tracking and coordinating outside counsel invoices and budgets for assigned matters Supporting reductions in force, including preparation of documentation and related materials Creating quarterly litigation reports for CFO and auditors Managing responses to the Company’s Whistleblower hotline reports Assisting with budget/forecasting exercises related to professional fees in coordination with the accounting team Supporting collections process including gathering documentation and drafting settlement agreements Compiling information required by our registered agents for corporate annual filings Providing general administrative and organizational support to the Litigation and Employment team as needed Qualifications We are looking for someone flexible and motivated to deliver outcomes, with the ability to adapt and be proactive in an ever-changing environment. Ideally you would have: Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience 12+ years of paralegal experience supporting litigation and/or employment matters, at a law firm and/or in-house legal department Working knowledge of e-discovery processes and legal hold administration Experience with case/matter management systems (e.g., Legal Tracker, Gavel, or similar) Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of matters simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion True team player, able to work cross-functionally in a complex organization and available to cover other team members as needed Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The compensation range for this position ranges from $119,583.00/year in our lowest geographic market up to 175,388.40 USD/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
