Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Project Manager
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid - 2days onsite & 3 days
remote in a week)
Duration: 6-12 months contract.
Quick overview: We're
looking for a Project Manager to support our Seaware reservations system
program. It's a replacement of our existing cruise booking platform that
touches sales, operations, and guest servicing workflows. The program has been
underway for more than a year, we are in the process of completing UATs, final
enhancements, reporting and data migration targeting a go-live in April.
This is a local, onsite-hybrid
role based in the Fort Lauderdale area and will be transitioning from the
existing PM which is supposed to complete the engagement with us at the end of
the year.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience
with reservations/booking systems (ideally Seaware or similar cruise/travel platforms like DTS or iTravel).
Familiarity with how these systems support booking creation, modifications,
cancellations, and ancillary attachments is a plus.
· Prior
experience in the cruise line, airline, hotel, or broader travel/hospitality sector, with an understanding of sales-channel workflows
(direct sales, travel advisors, or call center/reservations teams).
· 10+
years of project/program management experience, with proven track record delivering enterprise software
implementations end-to-end, from requirements through go-live and
stabilization. PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
· Experience
leading multi-vendor implementations,
holding each accountable to scope, timeline, and SLAs, and coordinating between
software vendors, internal RCYC stakeholders from Business and IT.
· Experience
coordinating hybrid/distributed teams across time zones (Europe, US,
India)
· Strong
capability to produce clear, concise status updates, maintain RAID logs,
proactively identify blockers, and escalate risks to leadership before they
become critical.
· Comfortable
presenting progress, risks, and trade-offs directly to IT and business
leadership in business terms, not just technical detail; able to tailor
messaging to a non-technical executive audience.
· Local
availability: Based in or near Fort
Lauderdale, able to come onsite 2 days per week; no relocation or visa
sponsorship.
Preferred (nice-to-have):
· Experience
tracking and managing multi-million-dollar program budgets, including invoice
reconciliation and vendor cost control.
· Change
management / end-user adoption experience for operational or commercial teams.
· Familiarity
with structured PMO governance models (intake processes, steering committees,
change advisory boards).
· Experience
stepping into an existing program and transitioning smoothly from an outgoing
PM.
