This role is responsible for supporting the quality assurance of the MyWorldPanel platform through automation, functional validation, and collaboration with cross-functional delivery teams. The position is suited to a candidate with strong testing fundamentals, practical automation experience, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile delivery environment. Role Overview The SIT Automation Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of the MyWorldPanel platform during ongoing delivery and migration activities. The role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and executing automated tests, while also supporting manual and exploratory testing where required. Working closely with developers, analysts, and quality assurance colleagues, the successful candidate will help deliver high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment. The role also requires a basic level of AI literacy, including the ability to use tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar solutions to support productivity in testing activities. Candidates should be comfortable using clear prompts, interpreting AI-generated outputs, and validating results to ensure accuracy and relevance to business requirements. Core Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI, functional, and regression testing. Support manual and exploratory testing activities to validate new or changing functionality. Ensure appropriate automation coverage for critical business workflows and regression scenarios. Integrate and maintain automated tests within Azure DevOps pipelines to support continuous validation. Log, track, and manage defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolution. Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes, documentation standards, and Agile quality assurance practices. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including developers, analysts, and other quality assurance team members.
