Sr QA Engineer Automation (Contract)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation to join a fintech investment platform company, with strong experience in both manual and automation testing, proficiency in at least one programming language, the ability to write SQL queries, and hands-on experience with API testing, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD. Fluent English is required and the position is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies that ensure the highest standards of quality.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks and tools to support our rapidly expanding product suite.
• Partner with backend engineering to create sophisticated integration and end-to-end tests that guarantee seamless functionality.
• Temporarily own frontend automated testing, with the goal of seamlessly transitioning ownership to the frontend engineering team.
• Share testing expertise and inspire engineering squads to continuously raise the bar for quality across all products and services.
• Relentlessly push boundaries to advance testing practices and methodologies, setting new industry benchmarks for excellence.

Requirements

• Indonesian citizenship (WNI) only.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Strong experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, JSON etc.).
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
• Solid familiarity with API testing tools and best practices.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI for running automated tests.
• Experience database testing, including writing SQL queries.
