Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed’s Diabetes business. About the Role

Help shape the future of diabetes care while driving Salesforce innovation and AI-enabled transformation at MiniMed. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our Global Capability Center (GCC) delivery model, supporting critical Sales and Clinical platforms while accelerating the adoption of AI-driven capabilities across the Salesforce ecosystem.

You will work closely with global business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and delivery teams to build scalable Salesforce solutions, support ongoing digital transformation initiatives, and contribute to the future AI strategy of the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine deep Salesforce expertise with emerging AI technologies in a mission-driven company focused on improving the lives of people with diabetes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Build and maintain custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Partner with Product Managers, Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), Architects, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support critical business functions across Sales, Clinical, Customer Service, Marketing, and Digital initiatives.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications such as SAP, Data Platforms, Middleware, and external solutions.
• Participate in Agile development activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring platform stability, performance, and scalability.
• Support DevOps, CI/CD, Release Management, Quality Engineering, and governance processes.
• Create and maintain technical design documentation, process flows, solution diagrams, and development standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to GCC capability development, knowledge transfer, and best-practice adoption.
• Apply AI and Generative AI concepts to improve development productivity, business processes, and customer experiences.
• Demonstrate understanding of AI concepts including:

• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• AI Agents and Agentic Workflows
• Prompt Engineering
• Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Enterprise AI Platforms
• Responsible AI Principles

• Collaborate with teams evaluating and implementing AI capabilities within the Salesforce and enterprise technology ecosystem.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform innovations, AI trends, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• 6 to 10 years of total IT experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Apex Development
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Salesforce Flows
  • Integration Design and Development
  • REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and governor limits.
• Experience supporting global business stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator or Sales/Service Cloud certifications preferred.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, or similar technologies is preferred.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts including:
  • Prompt Engineering
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • AI Agents
  • Generative AI Fundamentals
  • AI-assisted Software Development
• Experience in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries is preferred.
