We’re looking for a Staff Accountant who brings accuracy, curiosity, and ownership to the job. If you enjoy reconciling accounts, digging into variances, and turning financial data into insights people can act on, this remote role puts your expertise to work across daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and planning.

Your Impact
Reporting to the Controller, you’ll keep financial information accurate, accounts reconciled, and accounting processes running efficiently. Your analysis will help management make informed decisions, and your attention to detail will strengthen the reliability of FleetGenius’ financial reporting.

What You’ll Do
- Review and reconcile daily activity across all company bank accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare journal entries and complete balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable for corporate vendors, processing payments once the required approvals are in place.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Compare actual results to budget, investigate variances, and share actionable insights with management.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Assist with external audits and tax preparation.
- Take on ad hoc projects and analyses as business needs arise.
What You’ll Bring
- Two or more years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- A strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and XLOOKUP.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, our accounting system, preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to problems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines without sacrificing accuracy or follow-through.

- $60,000–$70,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
- Weekly pay.
- Full-time, fully remote position open to candidates based in the US.
