Startup Lawyer - Investor Closing

We’re hiring: a part-time, remote lawyer to handle our investor closings.

MEDirect is a healthtech company.

Doctors use our platform to run virtual clinics under their own name.

Investors invest through SAFEs issued by MEDIRECT HOLDINGS LIMITED, our holding company in ADGM. Our operating company is based in Riyadh.

Investors who have decided to invest come to you, and you close them legally from start to finish.

What you’ll do

• Setup. Before the first investor, get our closing pack ready: review our SAFE template and KYC checklist, make the necessary changes, set up e-signing, and build one tracker covering existing shareholders and new investors.
• Closing. Take each investor through KYC, the SAFE and signatures. Confirm the funds reach the company account.
• Records. Keep a complete file for every investor.
• After the close. Bring our existing shareholders’ files up to date.
• Throughout.Advise us on the best practice for each closing.

Who you are

• A licensed lawyer or senior paralegal in Saudi Arabia, the UAE or the wider GCC
• Experienced with SAFEs and English-law contracts (>2years)
• Have closed similar investment rounds
• Familiar with Saudi company law (preferred)
• Fluent in Arabic and English

How it works

• Remote and part-time, until the round closes and the files are complete
• Paid for the setup, for each completed investor file and for each updated shareholder file, plus a bonus when the round closes
