After standardizing how the world does machine learning, we’re now transforming the way enterprises practice agentic data science. We’re looking for a Strategic Communications Manager to contribute to the company’s growth and tell the world about our vision for Tabular AI. The role We carry one of the most trusted names in machine learning and a fast-growing story about where data science goes next. This role makes sure that story lands. You will play a key role in driving and amplifying Probabl’s voice. You’ll plan and coordinate everything we put in front of the outside world, across audiences as different as enterprise buyers, data scientists, and our strategic partners. You will shape how Probabl is understood and perceived and ensure our vision is visible and lands effectively with the right audiences. You will make sure that our story holds together whether it shows up in a blog post, a sales deck, or a press release. When we ship something that matters, you turn it into a moment people notice. This is a cross-functional role. You’ll work in close synchronization with our ecosystem development, product, engineering, thought leadership, and business development teams – translating what each of them does into a coherent, compelling narrative that reaches the right people through the right channels. This position is for someone who understands that communications is not just a support function but a strategic lever for building an ambitious, future-shaping company. What you’ll do Strategic positioning and narrative: You will execute the company’s overall external communications direction, and ensure our messaging is consistent and resonant across audiences, channels, and formats. You will develop and sharpen our narrative, grounded in our mission, strategy, and product portfolio. Communications delivery and development: You will take responsibility for the day-to-day operations and execution of our external communications. You will be responsible for prioritizing and coordinating ongoing communications across all channels and teams, and you will act as the communications throughline across the company so that what each team produces adds up to one clear voice. Create content across formats and channels: Produce high-quality content for our owned channels (website, LinkedIn, blog, newsletter, and beyond), and make sure each piece reaches the audience it’s meant for. Turn launches into moments: When we release something important, shape it into a coordinated story that earns attention from enterprise buyers, data scientists, press, and policymakers. Build the ambassador network: Support the Head of Ecosystem Development to build and energize a global network of ambassadors who amplify Probabl’s story. What you’ll bring 5-8 years of experience in communications, brand, content, or a closely related field. Flawless or native English. A genuine enthusiasm for storytelling, content creation, and building communities around a brand. An entrepreneurial instinct for strategic communications and growth hacking. Proven experience shaping and owning a brand or product narrative across multiple audiences. A track record of creating content (text, image, video) for channels such as website, blog, LinkedIn, and newsletters, with a clear sense of how to reach distinct audiences. Strong editorial judgment and an ability to translate technical work into stories that resonate with non-technical readers. Confidence coordinating across technical and non-technical teams, and turning scattered inputs into a coherent message. Excitement about data science, AI, machine learning, and/or open source. You’re a team player and enjoy collaborating with coworkers, active and open communication, and both giving and receiving feedback. Nice to have Fluent (written/verbal) in German and French. Experience building or running an ambassador, advocate, or community network. Track record building or contributing to an open source community. This interview will involve a 15 minute presentation of a takehome assignment. 4th interview (30 mins) with Probabl’s CEO.
