e3 Partners SC Apprentice is an opportunity for future Strategy Coordinators to develop by equipping God's people to share God's word, and establish healthy, multiplying disciples around the world. An SC Apprentice with e3 Partners works with a Strategy Coordinator in pursuit of a Church Planting Movement. An SC Apprentice can focus their attention on 0-1 harvest work, networking and/or training with the goal of multiplying disciples and churches. They will learn to train others in the practices (tools) and principles of a CPM 4 Fields Strategy. They will develop skills in order to catalyze other individuals and/or churches into the work until there is a church accessible to every person on the planet.

An SC Apprenticeship will not exceed 2 years in the assigned field location. The SC apprentice can raise ongoing monthly support through e3 against a budget that they work on with the SC. If the SC Apprentice becomes and SC, then this support would continue into the SC role.

Leadership and General

  • In collaboration with colleagues, contributes to achievement of e3 Partners’ goals.
  • Works within a segment, teaming with other laborers who are pursuing a strategy to multiply disciples and churches.
  • Develops relationships with churches, ministries and other potential e3 partners interested in being trained in a 4 Fields Strategy.
  • Networks to form long-term, collaborative, strategic relationships with individuals, churches, ministries and other organizations in order to mobilize disciple makers, church planters, multipliers and trainers.
  • Develops innovative approaches and initiatives to increase ministry effectiveness in the segment.

Training

  • Able to train the tools defined by the team to equip others in disciple making, church planting and multiplication.
  • Already trained in the principles (intensive or residency or internship) before onboarding as an SC apprentice.
  • Participates in training to problem solve barriers faced within the work.
  • Trains people in basic tools of a Disciple Maker and provides further training opportunities for the faithful.
  • Uses Contextualized Tools.

Teaming

  • Labors under the direction of a Strategy Coordinator who stewards the essential tasks of a strategy within a defined segment.
    • Gathers with a team (led by Strategy Coordinator) for regular encouragement, accountability, prayer and strategic planning.
    • Reports results within the team to inform strategic decisions.

  • Ministry

    • Has the duty to interact with others as an ambassador of faith.
    • Tasked with performing duties according to the Word of God and Biblical standards as drawn from the Holy Scripture.
    • Serves as a messenger or teacher of faith according to e3 Doctrinal statements and beliefs.
    • Has a duty to assist others to cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.

Must have knowledge of and experience in:

  • Level 1 Disciple Maker
  • Harvest, Group —>Emerging, Multiplication
  • Gospel Conversations Training
  • Demonstrates competency in field 1,2,3
  • 4 Day Intensive

    • Efficiently network with churches and individuals

    • Clear and concise communicator in small and large groups

    • Servant leadership

    Spiritual Requirements:

    • Being completely surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ

    • Bearing witness of Christian character in daily life by biblical definition.

    • Being a member in good standing of a local church.

    • Agreement and with the e3 Partners Doctrinal Statement.

    • Is called to represent Christ and the beliefs of e3 to the larger community.
