Strategy Support Officer (Member Enablement) – Spanish-Speaking for Americas and the Carribean Role We are looking for a motivated Strategy Support Officer (Member enablement) to join our Strategy team in a home-based fellowship position. This is an opportunity for an organized and proactive individual with a passion for stakeholder engagement, strategic initiatives and organizational transformation. The successful candidate will support engagement with Spanish-speaking ISO members and partners across the Americas and the Caribbean region, helping members understand, engage with and implement key ISO strategic initiatives. This includes support for Strategy 2030, the Business Model Review, digital evolution initiatives, and other transformation programmes that strengthen the ISO system. The role works closely with colleagues across ISO, including the Regional Coordinator for Americas and the Caribbean, the Regional Support Officer and other teams supporting member engagement and organisational transformation. As part of the Strategy team, the Strategy Support Officer (Member Enablement) supports the successful engagement of Spanish-speaking members in ISO's strategic priorities and transformation initiatives. The role contributes to the planning, coordination, delivery and monitoring of member enablement activities that help members understand new initiatives, build capability, share experiences and support implementation. Key responsibilities Member enablement Support the delivery of regional member enablement activities for Spanish-speaking members across the Americas and Caribbean region. Assist with initiatives that support implementation of ISO Strategy 2030, the Business Model Review, digital evolution programmes and other strategic priorities. Help identify regional members’ needs, opportunities and challenges, providing feedback to support continuous improvement of enablement activities. Support the planning and delivery of workshops, webinars, meetings and learning activities, particularly those involving Spanish-speaking members. Encourage participation and knowledge sharing among members and promote available ISO resources and tools. Assist in monitoring member engagement and uptake of strategic initiatives, preparing reports and insights as required. Coordination and Project administration Act as a cultural and linguistic bridge within the region related to ISO Strategy change management activities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for Spanish-speaking members Collaborate with ISO/CS teams, the Regional Coordinator, the Regional Support Officer and colleagues across ISO to coordinate member engagement activities. Monitor developments (e.g. online reports, organizational updates, media) among Spanish-speaking members and prepare briefings or summaries as needed Support project coordination across member enablement initiatives, maintaining project documentation, timelines and reporting. Contribute ideas to improve coordination, consistency and effectiveness across member enablement activities. Communication Translate or review key communications, presentations and member resources in Spanish where appropriate. Support preparation of communication materials that promote strategic initiatives and transformation programmes. Respond to enquiries from Spanish-speaking members in a timely and professional manner. Help facilitate communication between ISO/CS and regional stakeholders.
