ispace is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of lunar exploration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in spacecraft mechanical design, with expertise in systems such as lunar landers, lunar satellites, and other space exploration vehicles. 将来に向けて月探査技術を開発するエンジニアとしてチームに参加していただきます。 宇宙機(月面着陸船(以下Lander)、月周回衛星等)の構造設計ないし構造解析に携わっていただける方を募集致します。 Key responsibilities ・Support the structural and/or thermal design efforts for spacecraft system development including lander and other transportation system elements. ・Design structural components of the spacecraft with conducting structural computational analyses. ・Support the completion of the component design specifications and the design reviews. ・Design works including trade studies, material, component, manufacturing process selection, and design validation (i.e Analysis evaluation, unit test) ・Support the test preparation of test plan, the report, the analyses of test data, and the JIG designs for component and system tests. ・Evaluate non-conformance materials from design and analysis perspectives, and prepare the report. ・ Support detailed design of spacecraft system for structural, thermal, and operational performance. (i.e Component layout) ・ Create/Prepare 3D model and drawing for the manufacturing ・ Support spacecraft integration and evaluate the assembability including travel to test/integration sites. ・ Technical coordination with suppliers including solving manufacturing issues ・ Report to the team lead and the group manager. ・Landerを含む宇宙機システム開発における構造設計 ・設計仕様書作成及びDesign Reviewのサポート ・Design trade-off study、材料選定、製造工程、設計検証(解析評価やユニット試験等) ・システムもしくはユニット試験の計画及びレポートの作成、テストデータ解析、コンポーネント/システム試験用JIG設計 ・設計不適合品に対する評価及びレポート作成 ・構造、熱、オペレーションに対する宇宙機システムの詳細設計サポート(搭載機器レイアウト等) ・構造部品の3Dモデリング及び図面の作成 ・テストサイトにおける宇宙機組立作業のサポートおよび組立性評価 ・サプライヤーとの業務調整(製造不具合対応を含む) ・チームリーダー及びグループマネージャーへの業務報告 Minimum requirements ・Hold BS and/or MS in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering. ・Have more than 3 years of experience in the design of aerospace, aviation or automotive applications. ・ Have extensive experience with CAD software packages and drawing makings. ・ Have knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T) and of the stack-up calculation method for drawing tolerances (i.e. RSS). ・ Have knowledge of mechanical design, material selection, and fabrication processes for spaceflight hardware or equivalent. ・ Have work experience by using Japanese and English including meeting and documentation ・ Be comfortable with change, fast-pace environment, and learning new things. ・ Proactive attitude, team player, and strong responsibility for own works. ・ Business Level Japanese ・機械工学または航空宇宙工学の理学士および/または修士 ・航空宇宙または航空、またはオートモーティブ分野における3年以上の設計経験 ・CADツールを使用したモデリングおよび図面作成に関する豊富な経験 ・幾何公差（GD＆T）及びスタックアップ計算（RSSなど）に関する知識 ・金属材料の加工(機械加工、鋳造・鍛造加工、表面処理等)に関する知識 ・日本語および英語を使用した業務経験。会議、書類作成を含む ・スピードをもって変化に順応し、新しいことを学ぶ姿勢 ・業務に対する積極的な姿勢、チームプレーヤー、自分の仕事に対する強い責任がある事 ・英語：ビスネスレベル Preferred Qualifications ・Proficiency in Solidworks, FEmap, NASTRAN (or equivalent) software packages ・Have an experience of management of product BOM (Bill of Material) ・Have knowledge of composite material (CFRP etc) and experience of design with that. ・ Have knowledge of thermal design and analysis. ・ Have an experience of space environmental tests. ・ Have an experience in new industrial development project ・Solidworks、FEmap、NASTRAN（または同等の）ソフトウェアパッケージに習熟していること ・BOM(部品表)管理の経験 ・複合材料(CFRP等)の製造知識、およびそれを用いた設計経験 ・熱設計に関する知識 ・宇宙環境試験の経験 ・新規開発プロジェクトの経験 We will prioritize candidates currently in Japan with valid working visa. For overseas candidates, please note that you choose to proceed, this role requires relocation to Japan upon acceptance of the position. Compensation will be provided in JPY and aligned with local market benchmarks in Japan, based on the role’s level, scope, and prevailing industry standards.
