The Role

We are seeking a Hanoi-based Supplier Development Engineer to support supplier capability, technical sourcing, quality improvement, and project follow-up for precision manufacturing. This is a remote contract role with planned supplier visits in Vietnam.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess suppliers for machining, tooling, materials, finishing, inspection, packaging, and related processes.

• Review supplier capability against drawings, tolerances, quality, capacity, cost, and delivery requirements.

• Coordinate RFQs, samples, audits, corrective actions, qualification, and performance improvement.

• Track supplier risks, action owners, timing, and supporting evidence.

• Provide clear supplier and market feedback to Yibi’s sourcing, engineering, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant supplier development, sourcing, supplier quality, manufacturing, or project engineering experience is preferred.

• Ability to read drawings and discuss GD&T, materials, tolerances, processes, inspection, cost, and capacity.

• Experience with CNC machining, tooling, metal components, finishing, quality systems, or supplier audits is valuable.

• Professional Vietnamese and working English.

• Legal ability to provide contract services from Vietnam and willingness to conduct agreed supplier visits.
