Department: Supply Chain

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

About MDaaS

MDaaS Global is a healthtech company reimagining how diagnostic healthcare is delivered across Africa. We combine technology, medical equipment expertise and operational excellence to build and run diagnostic centres that are modern, efficient and affordable, bringing quality care closer to the communities that need it.

We're a mission-driven team working across clinical operations, technology, finance, commercial, people and strategy, united by the belief that where you live shouldn't determine the quality of care you receive.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Supply Chain Analyst to support inventory management and supply distribution across our diagnostic centres. The role is responsible for processing centre requests, maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating deliveries, monitoring stock levels and expiry dates, and ensuring supplies are available where and when they are needed.

This is a hands-on role that combines data and reporting with physical stock handling. It’s a good fit for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and keen to build a career in healthcare supply chain.

What You’ll Do

Supply Management and Distribution

  • Monitor supply needs across our centres and coordinate the timely fulfilment of routine and ad hoc requests.

  • Process and fulfil a high volume of consumables requests from centres, typically 50 or more per month, including requests for outreaches and other events.

  • Receive, organise and restock HQ inventory, including handling incoming shipments.

  • Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, invoices and waybills, and promptly flag shortages, damaged items or discrepancies.

  • Coordinate stock dispatches to centres with drivers and logistics partners, and confirm receipt of deliveries.

  • Support initial inventory planning, stocking and dispatches for new centre launches.

Inventory Control and Expiry Management

  • Ensure stock is stored under appropriate conditions and issued using the first-expiry, first-out (FEFO) principle, including for temperature-sensitive items.

  • Monitor stock levels against established reorder points and proactively flag low-stock items and replenishment needs to the Supply Chain Manager.

  • Track expiry dates and coordinate stock redistribution across centres to minimise avoidable wastage.

  • Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile records and investigate discrepancies.

  • Coordinate the appropriate handling and disposal of expired or damaged items in line with company policies and applicable requirements.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyse supply requests and consumption patterns across centres to identify unusual demand, over-ordering, stockpiling and opportunities to optimise inventory.

  • Prepare monthly inventory reports covering stock levels, consumption, expiry risks and discrepancies for the Supply Chain Manager.

  • Monitor recurring stock issues and escalate potential supply shortages, excess inventory and other operational risks.

  • Support replenishment planning using historical consumption data and anticipated centre needs.

  • Support periodic stock audits with Finance and assist with investigating and resolving inventory variances.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock movements, receipts, issues, transfers and dispatches in the inventory system or designated tracker.

  • File and maintain purchase orders, invoices, waybills, delivery confirmations and other relevant inventory documentation.

  • Ensure inventory records are complete, traceable and readily available for reporting, reconciliation and audits.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

  • An OND, HND or B.Sc in any discipline.

  • Experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, logistics, stores management or a related operational role.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities.

  • Good numerical and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret inventory data, identify discrepancies and recognise patterns in stock movement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for maintaining records, reconciling stock and preparing reports.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with centre teams, drivers and logistics partners.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the judgement to resolve routine issues and escalate risks promptly.

  • Integrity and accountability in handling inventory, maintaining records and following established procedures.

  • The ability and willingness to undertake hands-on inventory activities, including receiving, organising, counting and preparing stock for dispatch.

Preferred

  • Experience using Sheets or Excel functions and pivot tables to analyse data, reconcile records and prepare reports.

  • Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

  • Familiarity with healthcare diagnostics or laboratory operations.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary

  • Hybrid working

  • Health insurance (HMO)

  • Complimentary health services at our diagnostic centres

  • Pension contributions

  • Paid annual leave and sick leave

  • Learning and professional development opportunities
