What you'll do

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting procurement, purchasing, inventory management, logistics and supplier coordination. This is a varied role that combines hands-on purchasing administration with wider operational support, helping to ensure manufacturing and project teams have what they need to deliver successfully.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end purchasing process, from obtaining quotations through to raising purchase orders and expediting deliveries.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain material availability.
  • Supporting logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments and freight coordination.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, stock shortages and reorder requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate ERP records, supplier information and purchasing data.
  • Resolving delivery, quality, quantity and invoice queries.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Producing reports on purchasing activity, inventory and supplier performance.

Why join us?

You'll be part of a team at the forefront of industrial water treatment, process filtration, water recycling and sustainability solutions, working on projects that make a real impact.

This is an opportunity to develop your procurement and supply chain career in a varied role where you'll work closely with teams across a friendly, growing business and make a tangible contribution to operational success.

About You

  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and stock control.
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to cost control.
  • Knowledge of import/export processes (desirable).

You will be:

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive and solution orientated
  • A confident communicator who builds effective relationships
  • Collaborative and team focused
  • Commercially aware and cost-conscious
  • Adaptable, flexible and calm under pressure.
  • Committed to working with integrity, professionalism and high ethical standards.

In return we offer:

  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Option to buy or sell up to 5 days' annual leave
  • Single Bupa private medical cover
  • Life assurance
  • 3% employer pension contribution
