SW Integration Engineer

As a Software Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating and verifying software components within our industry-leading Wavence Microwave transmission systems. You will ensure seamless functionality across various software modules and hardware interfaces, leveraging both manual and automated testing methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, to guarantee system stability and performance. • Software Integration & Verification: Design, execute, and analyze comprehensive test cases (manual and automated) to validate integrated software against internal specifications and global standards, ensuring end-to-end system functionality.
• Automated Test Development: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage for integrated software systems.
• AI Integration: Explore and implement AI/ML tools to optimize test case generation, automate log analysis, and improve predictive debugging.
• Lab Environment Management: Set up, configure, and maintain software test environments, including virtualized platforms, network simulators, and associated hardware, ensuring readiness for integration and testing activities.
• Process & Pipeline Improvement: Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) by integrating software builds and automated tests into modern pipelines, challenging the status quo of daily operations.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, analyze, and debug complex software integration issues, collaborating closely with R&D and development teams to resolve defects.
• Global Collaboration & Leadership: Work cross-functionally with R&D, hardware, and software teams worldwide, providing technical leadership and training on integration best practices and system validation.

• Experience: ~3 years of hands-on experience (or relevant Master’s/PhD research) focused on Software Integration, System Testing, Telecom, Networking, or Embedded Systems.
• Core Technologies: Deep knowledge of Software Integration principles, IP Networking (Traffic & Routing), and Digital Transmission (TDM/IP). Familiarity with Microwave technologies (point-to-point/multipoint) is a plus.
• Testing & Automation: Proficiency in test methodologies, test case design, and experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Robot Framework).
• Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), version control systems (e.g., Git), and defect tracking systems.
• AI/ML Familiarity: Basic understanding of AI/ML libraries, generative AI tools, or data analytics techniques to modernize test automation.
