System Test lead

Location : Remote Client : State of Ohio Rate : $36  Duration : 3+Months Remote - Equipment is able to be shipped, however manager will consider local candidates first. 1. Serve as System Test lead for major applications; Define, plan, design and execute tests; Prepare and manage statistical and status reports for unit managers and higher-level managers 2. Research and review system design and technical documentation in order to develop detailed system test estimate, design and planning documents 3. Develop and maintain: requirements traceability matrices, system test plans, system test scenarios and manual and automated test scripts 4. Execute manual and automated functional, regression and performance tests, analyze outcomes, and support resolution to successful completion of tests 5. Develop automated test scripts and execute 6. Prepare and manage system test data 7. Document and communicate test status and results; Track, report and validate defects and work with the team on resolution 8. Prepare formal written test estimates 9. Deliver adhoc written and oral presentations related to system testing; 10. Effective communication with peers and managers. 11. Attend project/scrum meetings and debrief management and team members on meeting content 12. Interact with prospective customers during product demos/evaluations/Show & Tell 13. Ability to work in both agile and waterfall Methodologies. 14. Ability to generate batch reports and communicate with the team 15. Ability to interact with Development team and Middleware team to resolve the batch issues. Required Skills/Experience: 1. Minimum of a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline 2. Minimum of four (4) years experience serving as a system test lead for a large complex JAVA application or CRM Solution like Salesforce 3. Minimum of seven (7) years experience testing to include (test planning, test development (test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios), and test execution) for large, complex multi-platform applications. 4. Minimum of six (6) years experience using HP/Microfocus Test Tools (i.e. ALM/ALM Octane, Load Runner, QTP/UFT-Unified Functional Testing) & Rational Performance Tester. 5. Minimum of four (4) years experience using office automation and project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Visio, Microsoft Office and other tool sets. 6. Minimum of seven (7) years experience using database query tools and writing SQL. (i.e. Toad, AQT, etc.) 7. Minimum of 1 year experience in Agile Methodology/Testing. 8. Minimum of 3 years experience analyzing and executing Mainframe and Control-M/EM batch processing jobs 9. Minimum of 1 year experience in testing webservices using SOAP/REST or any related tool. 10. Minimum of 1 year experience using GIT, Nexus, & Jenkins for Continuous Testing 11. Minimum of 1 year experience in Mobile Testing (iOS, Android) 12. Minimum of 1 year experience in Security Testing 13. Research & Innovation: Proof of Concepts Preferred Skills Experience testing applications in Salesforce platform. Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment and work on multiple projects
