Era4 develops, owns and operates AI infrastructure across the UK, powered by renewable energy. Converting legacy industrial and energy sites into modern data-centre facilities, Era4 is combining brownfield regeneration opportunities with cleaner, efficient, scalable compute capacity for healthcare, research, finance, enterprise, and public-sector organisations
Role Summary:
We’re looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to help us identify and attract specialist talent as we continue to grow. You’ll partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand technical requirements, develop focused search strategies and build pipelines across data centre, mission-critical operations and related technical markets.
You’ll combine headhunting, market mapping and direct sourcing with effective candidate and requisition management. From shaping the initial brief through to offer, you’ll take ownership of the process and deliver a smooth, engaging experience for candidates and hiring managers.
This could suit someone from an internal Talent Acquisition or RPO environment, or an experienced agency recruiter looking to move in house. We work on a hybrid basis, with 1–2 days per week in our central London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied portfolio of vacancies, taking ownership from initial hiring brief through to offer and onboarding handover.
- Work closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand requirements, define candidate profiles and agree the right approach to each search.
- Translate specialist and technical requirements into targeted sourcing strategies, identifying the companies, sectors and talent pools most relevant to each role.
- Proactively source and approach talent through direct outreach and headhunting, engaging candidates rather than relying solely on applications.
- Develop talent pipelines for both live vacancies and anticipated hiring needs, supporting Era4’s current projects and future growth.
- Screen and assess candidates beyond the CV, understanding their experience, technical exposure, achievements and individual contribution.
- Own the candidate experience, keeping people engaged and recruitment processes moving effectively from first contact through to hire.
- Manage ATS and requisition activity while providing hiring managers with clear updates on pipelines, search progress, market insight and recruitment challenges.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience recruiting specialist, technical or hard-to-fill roles within data centres, mission-critical infrastructure operations or closely related technical environments.
- Demonstrable headhunting and direct sourcing capability, with experience proactively identifying, approaching and engaging passive candidates.
- Confidence turning complex technical requirements into focused search strategies and talent pipelines.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously, maintaining pace and attention to detail.
- Proven stakeholder management experience, with the confidence to work directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand and refine requirements.
- Ability to assess candidates beyond job titles, understanding their technical exposure, achievements and individual contribution.
- Confident communicator who can engage specialist candidates and clearly articulate complex opportunities.
- Experience using an ATS and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, maintaining accurate candidate and requisition information.
Why Join Era4:
You’ll be joining a mission-driven start-up building critical national infrastructure, where operational excellence directly enables growth. This role offers high visibility with leadership, real autonomy and the chance to shape how a next-generation company operates at scale.
Diversity & Inclusion:
Era4 is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
