Company Overview
Ethos Distributed Solutions is a vertically integrated field services company dedicated to delivering high-quality, cost-effective specialized services within the wind, solar, and telecommunications industries. We are committed to fostering a dynamic environment where innovation and excellence drive our success.

Job Summary
We are looking for a well-connected, relationship-driven recruiter who has a deep understanding of the current power generation landscape, including utility-scale renewable energy and traditional and emerging thermal/ natural gas technologies. Ethos places Owner's Representatives on utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage, thermal, and transmission projects - with emerging opportunities in Data Center buildouts - and our people are our business. If you've spent years engaging with or recruiting project managers, construction site managers, superintendents, high-voltage electrical inspectors, civil inspectors, technicians, and other qualified experts or testing personnel, and you know many of them by name, this role was built for you.

We are looking for a specialist in creative, high-touch, and unconventional sourcing strategies that identify top-tier candidates long before a job opening even hits the market. In our world, recruitment is a marathon that ends in an all-out sprint to be first in line with a good candidate. The best candidate for this role has a deep understanding of a power generation project lifecycle, and understands how developers, utilities, and EPCs are structured to deliver results. They know how to nurture relationships through targeted engagement, offering personalized career advice, and consistent value-add communication over months or years, ensuring that when the right opportunity finally arrives, the perfect candidate is already in our pipeline and ready to work.

In this role, you will proactively source top talent, build robust candidate pools across skill and specialty, manage our recruiting platform, and execute multi-faceted nurturing campaigns to keep candidates engaged and ready for placement when opportunities become available. The ideal candidate thrives in a relationship-driven environment that blends high-volume technical hiring with senior, hard-to-find field and management profiles, excels at outbound sourcing, and uses data-driven tools to maintain a continuous pipeline of qualified talent.

This is a great role for a specialist recruiter who has built a renewables or construction desk in the staffing agency model and wants to move in-house. Here’s how you win: Keep earning placement bonuses without a billing quota, trade one-time placements for long-term relationships with people who stay with us as employees, spend less time chasing new clients and more time finding and developing great talent, and grow with an expanding organization.

Ethos is a forward-looking, growth-oriented company, and the ideal candidate will have a seat at the table in how we continue to innovate in this fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize the Recruiting Platform: Leverage our sourcing and applicant tracking platform, tapping into AI-powered sourcing, candidate rediscovery, matching, engagement, and analytics features to identify, contact, and track candidates efficiently. Configure searches, build Boolean strings, utilize open web sourcing, and automate workflows to maximize platform ROI.
  • Proactive Candidate Sourcing: Source high-quality active and passive candidates through the recruiting platform, LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and other channels to fill current openings and build pipelines for future needs. Develop targeted sourcing strategies based on skill requirements, industry trends, and customer/client demands.
  • Build and Manage Candidate Pools: Create and maintain segmented talent pools for critical roles, skills, and customer verticals (e.g., construction management, electrical and civil inspection, wind and solar technicians, segmented by location and experience level). Regularly update and cleanse candidate databases to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
  • Technical Qualification: Qualify candidates for owner's representative and field roles by understanding project scopes (e.g., substation, collection systems, civil/geotech, QA/QC, commissioning) and verifying relevant credentials and safety certifications.
  • Candidate Nurturing & Engagement Campaigns: Execute and maintain multi-channel nurturing campaigns (email drips, personalized outreach, SMS, calls) via our recruiting platform engagement tools to keep candidates warm and interested over extended periods. Track engagement metrics and adjust campaigns to maintain high levels of candidate interest until a suitable role opens.
  • Industry Relationships & Workforce Planning: Represent Ethos in the power generation and construction communities through industry events, associations, and your professional network. Partner with Ethos’ operations team and our customers to forecast staffing needs for upcoming projects and build talent pools ahead of demand.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting Support: Screen resumes, conduct initial phone/video interviews, assess fit, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers. Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback loops, offer processes, and onboarding as needed. Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand role requirements, refine job descriptions, and align on candidate profiles.
  • Pipeline Management & Reporting: Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-fill, and sourcing effectiveness using the recruiting platform analytics and other tools. Generate reports on candidate pool strength, nurturing campaign performance, and recruitment metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate impact.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruiting activities comply with relevant employment laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies. Promote sourcing and engagement practices that surface the broadest possible pool of highly capable candidates.

Qualifications & Requirements

You might come to us from one of two paths:

  • Specialist recruiter path: 3+ years recruiting in renewable energy, construction, or skilled technical trades (staffing agency, RPO, or corporate TA), with a track record placing roles such as construction managers, superintendents, site managers, inspectors, and technicians.
  • Or, the industry path: 5+ years working in utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or transmission construction (e.g., site manager, superintendent, construction manager, inspector, or owner's representative), with a strong field network and an interest in moving into talent acquisition. We'll train you on our recruiting platform and tools.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with passive candidates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly via email, phone, and video.
  • Competitive, “win-win” mindset that thrives in closing deals.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking metrics and optimizing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Bilingual English-Spanish helpful.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • An established network of renewable energy and construction professionals across field, project management, and inspection roles.
  • Familiarity with the owner's representative model and utility-scale project lifecycles.
  • Knowledge of staffing agency models, including client-facing placement dynamics.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, or other AI sourcing/CRM tools, Boolean searching, and multi-channel outreach (we’ll train the right person on our platform).
  • Certification in recruiting (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar) is a plus.

Work Environment

Hybrid or remote work is available for the right candidate; time in our Denver-area office is preferred, not required, and we’re casting a wide net rather than limiting the search to one metro. Occasional travel to industry events and project sites may be required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the proactive, outbound nature of agency recruiting but within a company setting, focusing on long-term talent relationships rather than just filling immediate roles.

Pay:

Base compensation: $90k - $120k based on experience with bonus potential of $45 - $60k.

Ethos offers 401k match, medical, and dental benefits as well as PTO.

Join us as a Talent Acquisition Partner – Power Generation & Construction if you’re passionate about connecting talented professionals with impactful projects!
