This role is suitable for someone with prior recruitment or sourcing experience who is comfortable engaging candidates across Singapore, Malaysia and regional markets.

What You Will Do

As a Recruiter (Contract), you will work closely with Pivot Search consultants to support live hiring mandates across technology, AI, digital transformation and commercial roles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partner with recruitment consultants to understand client hiring requirements, target candidate profiles and search priorities.
• Source and identify potential candidates through LinkedIn, job platforms, databases, referrals and other talent channels.
• Conduct outreach to engage passive candidates and assess initial interest in relevant opportunities.
• Screen candidate profiles and resumes based on role requirements, experience, skills, seniority and market relevance.
• Maintain structured candidate pipelines and track sourcing, outreach, responses and follow-up progress.
• Prepare candidate summaries, screening notes and profile updates for consultant review.
• Support interview coordination and follow-up communication between candidates and consultants where required.
• Conduct talent mapping and basic market research across Singapore, Malaysia and wider APAC markets.
• Support candidate engagement in a professional, personalised and consultative manner.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, trackers and candidate data.
• Assist with ad hoc sourcing, market mapping and recruitment operations projects.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, sourcing, HR, staffing, executive search or a related function.
• Prior experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn or similar professional platforms.
• Strong proficiency in English, Chinese and Malay.
• Based in Singapore or Malaysia (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging candidates.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage candidate information accurately.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
• Able to manage multiple searches, outreach activity and follow-ups in a structured manner.
• Experience in agency recruitment, executive search, technology recruitment or regional hiring is a plus.
• Experience supporting roles across technology, AI, software engineering, data, product, sales, commercial or business functions is preferred.
• Familiarity with Boolean search, LinkedIn sourcing and candidate pipeline management.

• Flexible working hours, with overlap in Singapore working hours preferred.
• Project-based or ongoing engagement depending on business needs and performance.
