Join Marsh as a Talent Intelligence & Market Mapping LAC Lead
In this role, you will own the market mapping and talent intelligence agenda for
commercial roles within the risk sector in LAC, turning market signals and data into clear, actionable insights that shape hiring strategy, talent pipelines, and workforce planning.
We will count on you to:
- Lead end-to-end market mapping for commercial roles across the risk ecosystem (e.g., Client Executive / Sales Leader / Key Account Manager / commercial broking or advisory roles with growth accountability).
- Build and maintain market maps and talent pools by role, seniority, industry vertical (Financial Institutions, Manufacturing, Energy, Real Estate, etc.), and geography.
- Identify and segment target organizations (brokers, insurers, consultancies, boutique firms, insurtechs, and adjacent B2B services) and develop prioritization logic.
- Analyze and synthesize trends (e.g., talent movement, team build-outs, capability gaps, role evolution, and location-based availability) into practical recruiting recommendations.
- Produce recurring, executive-ready insights (monthly/quarterly readouts, dashboards, and summaries) for Talent Acquisition and business leadership.
- Partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to translate business needs into search strategy (role calibration, target lists, sourcing approach, and profile “adjacencies”).
- Create and continuously improve a standard methodology (role taxonomy, leveling guidelines, data-quality standards, refresh cadence, and documentation).
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, confidentiality, ethics, and privacy in all market intelligence activities.
What you need to have:
- 5–8+ years of experience in sales, Talent Intelligence, market mapping, recruitment research, executive search, or workforce/talent analytics in LAC.
- Experience working in Executive Search firms in LAC.
- Strong experience mapping B2B commercial roles; exposure to insurance, brokerage, risk advisory, or financial/professional services is strongly preferred.
- Advanced capability in research and talent segmentation (including LinkedIn and other market sources) and building high-quality, structured talent pools.
- Strong analytical skills and executive synthesis: ability to translate data into insights, implications, and recommendations.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; Power BI / Tableau (or similar) is a plus.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, including influencing and advising leaders with clarity and credibility.
- English proficiency (advanced) for regional/global collaboration.
What makes you stand out:
- You can move from ambiguity to structure quickly—creating repeatable frameworks and clean outputs.
- You naturally connect market data to business decisions (where to look, what to prioritize, what to flex).
- You balance speed with rigor—delivering insights that are both timely and defensible.
- You are trusted with sensitive information and apply strong judgment and discretion.
