About the opportunity
The Teaching and Curriculum Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the core teaching and curriculum operations of the School of Economics. This position is central to ensuring the smooth delivery of academic programs and assessments and involves close collaboration with academic and professional staff across the School, Faculty, and University.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- coordinate teaching activities, including the in-semester test program, ensuring smooth delivery and operational efficiency
- support curriculum processes by acting as the central liaison for academic staff; supporting planning, development, approval and communication of curriculum initiatives
- engage stakeholders across internal and external networks to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with strategic priorities
- maintain and manage accurate records and systems to support curriculum compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement
- support and train academic and teaching staff on University systems, policies, and procedures
- drive innovation by contributing to education strategy implementation and identifying opportunities for process and service enhancement.
About you
- exceptional communication skills and deep knowledge of University systems supporting curriculum and teaching administration
- initiative and problem-solving ability, with a forward-thinking mindset that anticipates needs and identifies opportunities for process enhancement
- strong planning and organisational skills, with a track record of designing and refining administrative processes and delivering high-quality service
- technical proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools
- effective time management, balancing competing priorities and supporting others to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- collaborative mindset, with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
- the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures accurately and efficiently
- flexibility, including a willingness to support student assessments and recruitment activities outside standard hours when required.
