Il tuo ruolo Il Technical Area Manager Upstream è responsabile dello sviluppo dei progetti e influenza gli stakeholder che definiscono le specifiche di capitolato nella macro-area assegnata per posizionare le soluzioni Wavin. Attraverso il coinvolgimento di studi di progettazione, ingegneria, architettura e consulenza tecnica, contribuisce alla generazione e avanzamento della pipeline progettuale e garantisce la conversione delle specifiche di capitolato in opportunità commerciali. Il ruolo collabora strettamente con il Business Development Manager Upstream e con le diverse funzioni aziendali, supportando la crescita delle opportunità commerciali attraverso un presidio tecnico costante del mercato e degli stakeholder progettuali. Attraverso un approccio consulenziale e orientato alla creazione di valore, il ruolo del Technical Area Manager Upstream supporta il posizionamento di Wavin come partner tecnico di riferimento e contribuisce alla conversione delle specifiche progettuali in risultati di business concreti. Il ruolo riporta all'Upstream Sales Manager ed è strumentale al raggiungimento degli obiettivi di crescita della macro-area. Principali responsabilità Individuare nuove opportunità progettuali nella macro-area assegnata. Sviluppare, qualificare e monitorare la pipeline di progetto fino all'handover verso il team commerciale. Influenzare capitolati, specifiche tecniche e documentazione progettuale. Promuovere l'adozione delle soluzioni Wavin presso progettisti, studi di ingegneria e consulenti tecnici. Supportare la definizione delle soluzioni più idonee in funzione delle esigenze progettuali e delle applicazioni. Garantire la corretta registrazione delle opportunità e la qualità delle informazioni presenti nel CRM. Aggiornare forecast, stato dei progetti e pipeline di competenza. Collaborare con Area Manager, Funzionari Commerciali e Agenzie per favorire la conversione delle opportunità in fatturato. Supportare la difesa delle specifiche durante le fasi esecutive del progetto. Promuovere le opportunità One Wavin, favorendo l'integrazione delle diverse soluzioni aziendali. Raccogliere e condividere trend di mercato, esigenze dei progettisti e opportunità emergenti, contribuendo allo sviluppo dell'offerta aziendale. Requisiti Cerchiamo una persona con forte credibilità tecnica, spiccate capacità relazionali e consulenziali e comprovata esperienza nell'influenzare stakeholder progettuali e sviluppare opportunità nel settore Building & Infrastructure. Laurea tecnica o formazione equivalente. Esperienza di 5-10 anni nel settore Building & Infrastructure. Esperienza consolidata nella gestione di progettisti, studi di ingegneria e specifiche tecniche. Conoscenza del mercato impiantistico italiano. Conoscenza dei sistemi HVAC e Indoor Climate Solutions. Conoscenza delle soluzioni per la gestione delle acque. Familiarità con strumenti BIM e CAD. Conoscenza delle normative tecniche italiane e capacità di lettura degli elaborati progettuali. Your Role As a Technical Area Manager Upstream , you will be responsible for driving project development and influencing the stakeholders who define technical specifications within your assigned macro-area, with the goal of positioning Wavin solutions effectively. Through a consultative and value-driven approach, you will help strengthen Wavin’s position as a trusted technical partner and contribute to converting project specifications into concrete business results. The position reports directly to the Upstream Sales Manager and plays a key role in achieving the growth objectives of the assigned macro-area. Key responsibilities Identify new project opportunities within the assigned macro-area. Develop, qualify, and manage the project pipeline through to handover to the commercial team. Influence project specifications, technical requirements, and design documentation. Promote the adoption of Wavin solutions among designers, engineering firms, architects, and technical consultants. Support the identification and development of the most suitable solutions based on project requirements and application needs. Ensure accurate opportunity management and maintain high-quality data within the CRM system. Regularly update forecasts, project status, and the relevant project pipeline. Collaborate with Area Managers, Sales Representatives, and Sales Agencies to maximize the conversion of opportunities into revenue. Support the defense and preservation of specifications during the project execution phase. Promote One Wavin opportunities by encouraging the integration of the company's different product and solution portfolios. Gather and share market trends, customer and designer needs, and emerging opportunities, contributing to the continuous development of the company's value proposition and offering. Requirements We are looking for a professional with strong technical credibility, excellent relationship-building and consultative skills, and proven experience in influencing project stakeholders and developing opportunities within the Building & Infrastructure sector. Technical degree or equivalent educational background. 5-10 years of experience within the Building & Infrastructure industry. Proven experience managing relationships with designers, engineering firms, and technical specification processes. Solid knowledge of the Italian MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and building services market. Knowledge of HVAC and Indoor Climate Solutions systems. Knowledge of water management solutions. Familiarity with BIM and CAD tools. Understanding of Italian technical regulations and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation. Experience using CRM systems and Project Pipeline Management tools. Good command of both Italian and English.
