Technical Consultant

Technical Consultant, Merative US LP, Ann Arbor, MI and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and participate in requirements gathering and fit/gap analysis workshops. Create technical designs for Curam extensions and customizations. Design and develop Curam extensions, including Curam Express Rules (CER), workflows, and Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG) scripts. Develop enterprise-level applications using the Curam framework, Java/J2EE technologies, evidence components, dynamic evidence, batch processing, and user interface development. Design Curam technical solutions in Java by applying design patterns and object-oriented programming principles. Design and implement security-focused configuration enhancements. Develop JUnit test cases for system testing and perform JUnit testing for Curam implementations. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between actual and expected test results. Utilize the Eclipse framework to implement Curam solutions. Maintain industry-standard version control for developed software. Triage defects and utilize defect tracking tools such as Jira and Rational team concert to manage issues. Develop and execute SQL queries to access and analyze datasets within Oracle databases. Support peer reviews for technical designs, implementation plans, and related documentation. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve production-related defects in a timely manner. Design relational database tables for Curam solutions. Utilize Curam Platform Framework, Curam Express Rules (CER), Curam Citizen Engagement, Java/Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE), Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA&D), Structured Query Language (SQL), Web Service/Extensible Markup Language(XML). Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related and five (5) years of experience as a Curam Technical Consultant, Curam Developer or related. Five (5) years of experience must include utilizing Curam Platform Framework, Curam Express Rules (CER), Curam Citizen Engagement, Java/Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE), Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA&D), Structured Query Language (SQL), Web Service/Extensible Markup Language (XML). $144893 to $194000. Compensation

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
