We are looking for a Technical Inspection Engineer (Electrical & Automation) to join our Operational Excellence at our Head Office located in Kağıthane, Istanbul.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the maritime, power generation, shipbuilding, or industrial sectors.
- Proven experience with medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, power distribution, generator protection, and control systems.
- Good working knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
- Solid understanding of electrical protection systems, relay coordination, and power system engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment automation, instrumentation, and protection systems.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), risk assessment, and reliability engineering methodologies.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation.
- Experience with ERP/CMMS platforms, preferably SAP PM.
- Excellent written and spoken English (Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or above).
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
WHAT AWAITS YOU?
- Support the execution of technical audit activities across power generation plants to ensure compliance with corporate management systems, international regulations, and industry best practices while maintaining the highest standards of operational safety and reliability.
- Coordinate technical audits and inspections of electrical generation, distribution, automation, and control systems across operational sites, ensuring effective follow-up and timely closure of audit findings.
- Prepare comprehensive technical incident and failure investigation reports, documenting findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.
- Evaluate technical operating practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide technical observations and recommendations to enhance operational performance.
- Monitor equipment performance trends by assessing electrical protection systems, alarm management, control system health, and automation performance, identifying potential reliability concerns and recommending corrective actions.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and failure reviews, contributing to the implementation of preventive measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify reliability risks, recurring equipment failures, and maintenance deficiencies, and support the development of engineering solutions to improve asset reliability and operational performance.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and system availability.
- Collaborate closely with plant operations teams, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and third-party technical specialists to support the successful execution of technical audit activities and engineering improvement projects.
- Support the development of engineering capabilities by contributing to technical training programs, knowledge sharing initiatives, and the promotion of engineering best practices across the organization.
