JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in translating business requirements into detailed technical solutions and guiding the development team throughout implementation. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are well-designed, properly integrated, and aligned with the overarching architecture.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading detailed technical design, development, and source code review, ensuring implementation meets business requirements and follows overarching architecture principles.
• Analyzing and translating business requirements into detailed technical designs that can be effectively implemented by development teams.
• Breaking technical designs and requirements into clear tasks and deliverables for team members.
• Providing technical direction and guidance to the development team throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Reviewing source code and technical implementation to ensure code quality, consistency, maintainability, and compliance with agreed technical and architectural principles.
• Ensuring detailed designs integrate seamlessly with existing systems and operate effectively within the technical workflow across multiple teams.
• Working closely with other technical teams to identify and address integration dependencies, technical constraints, and potential implementation issues.
• Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to manage change management activities, assess the impact of changes, and ensure changes are properly incorporated into the technical solution.
• Supporting the team in resolving technical issues that may arise during development and integration.
• Working with stakeholders to ensure technical decisions remain aligned with business requirements and the overall solution of architecture.
• Contributing to the successful delivery and go-live of digital banking solutions by ensuring technical implementation meets the required solution and architecture standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Professional experience

• At least 10 years of experience in designing, managing, and optimizing APIs and/or microservices.
• At least 5 years of experience working as a Technical Team Lead, Integration Lead, or Architect Lead.
• Proven experience in successfully leading and completing the go-live of at least 1 digital banking solution project for corporate customers in a major financial institution and/or bank.
• Strong experience working with complex technical solutions involving APIs and microservices.
• Experience working across multiple technical teams and coordinating technical integration activities.

Technical skills

• Strong experience with Java.
• Strong experience designing, developing, managing, and optimizing Microservices.
• Good understanding of API and microservice-based solution design and integration.
• Experience with technical design and source code review in enterprise-level software projects.

Leadership and collaboration

• Ability to translate business requirements into clear and implementable technical designs.
• Ability to break down complex technical requirements into tasks and provide clear technical direction to development teams.
• Strong collaboration skills when working with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate technical changes and manage dependencies across teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical and integration challenges.
