Turn complex revenue cycle challenges into smarter, more efficient healthcare operations. This senior-level opportunity puts you at the intersection of revenue cycle expertise, technology, analytics, and operational improvement, with broad exposure across the revenue cycle continuum.
As a Technical Operations Analyst Senior, you will serve as a key technological resource for Revenue Cycle Operations, connecting operational needs with technical solutions. You will use your expertise in claims, EDI, healthcare technology, and Epic-supported environments to solve problems, improve workflows, and help teams make informed operational decisions.
The Role
This is an operationally focused healthcare technology role for an experienced revenue cycle professional who understands both how revenue cycle processes work and how technology can make them work better. You will collaborate with operational leaders and technical partners across registration, pre-arrival, utilization management, provider enrollment, revenue integrity, coding, provider education, billing, and cash management.
Your work will include:
- Managing and supporting revenue cycle applications, claims technologies, and clearinghouse processes.
- Monitoring, tracking, reconciling, and analyzing claims submissions and remittances.
- Identifying process improvements and front-end edits that can increase efficiency and accelerate claims processing.
- Serving as a subject matter expert and liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations and Epic teams.
- Analyzing data and developing performance metrics that support operational decisions and optimization.
- Supporting projects involving claims technology, EDI transactions, and workflow improvements.
- Partnering with operational leaders to investigate issues, determine solutions, and advance strategic initiatives.
- Managing competing priorities in an environment where effective triage, analytical thinking, and problem-solving are essential.
The strongest fit will bring substantial healthcare revenue cycle experience along with knowledge of claims and remittance workflows, EDI, HIPAA transactions, payer communications, analytics, and healthcare technology. Epic experience is valuable, and the role requires obtaining Epic certification within one year of hire.
The position offers a highly flexible hybrid work arrangement. During onboarding, expect more frequent onsite collaboration, approximately one to two times per week. Once established, onsite presence is generally limited to quarterly team gatherings and occasional business needs.
