Responsibilities

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to support the delivery of enterprise software and integration projects for customers across the EMEA region.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants to develop their career in technical project management. Candidates may come from software development, engineering, technical consulting, implementation, or project delivery backgrounds.

The TPM will work directly with customers, developers, and internal teams to coordinate software delivery, manage project activities, and translate between technical and business stakeholders. Prior experience working with large enterprise systems is beneficial but is not required.

The ideal candidate has approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to develop both customer-facing and project leadership skills.

This position is based in Porto, Portugal. Below are the responsibilities for the role:

  • Manage enterprise software projects across EMEA from discovery through deployment and post-launch support.

  • Work with customers to understand technical requirements, business objectives, timelines, and success criteria.

  • Coordinate activities between customers, developers, Product, and other internal stakeholders.

  • Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and action items.

  • Participate in technical discussions involving APIs, applications, cloud infrastructure, databases, and integrations.

  • Translate customer requirements and business needs into clear information for technical teams.

  • Coordinate testing, validation, release planning, and deployment activities.

  • Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for customer and system issues.

  • Identify project risks and escalate issues when additional technical or leadership support is required.

  • Provide clear and consistent project status communication to customers and internal leadership.

  • Develop knowledge of enterprise software delivery, customer systems, and integration practices.

  • Promote strong project documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in software development, technical project delivery, engineering, implementation, technical consulting, or a related field.

  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of software development concepts.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with software engineers and understand technical requirements and dependencies.

  • Familiarity with APIs, applications, databases, networking, cloud technologies, or similar software concepts.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities, timelines, and multiple workstreams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers.

  • Desire to develop project management and customer leadership capabilities.

  • Fluent professional English.

  • Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and customers across the EMEA region.

  • Based in or able to work from Porto, Portugal.

The following are some nice to have requirements:

  • Experience integrating software with customer enterprise systems or systems of record.

  • Experience reading, writing, or exchanging data with ERP, WMS, CRM, MES, or other enterprise platforms.

  • Previous experience managing customer-facing software projects.

  • Experience with REST APIs and integration workflows.

  • Experience with Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or Android.

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native environments, MySQL, MS SQL, or OpenAPI.

  • Previous software development or engineering experience.

  • Familiarity with wearable technologies, IoT integrations, frontline workforce applications, logistics, or manufacturing.

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Additional European language proficiency.
